Open Question: My in laws planned the wedding without telling us, aren't they wrong?

I'm getting married in October and I don't really want to get married since my fiance is white and I'm biracial ( black and white) and I can't trust white men based on experience. But we have an 8 week old baby who's my little angel and I want to give him everything I didn't have that includes a mom and dad and a stable home. He is very close to his parents even if he's 24 he lets them decide everything and I like them but they're too much sometimes. They basically told us last week that as a surprise and wedding gift to us they have hired a wedding planner and booked the location and food and everything. They booked us a 7 day honeymoon trip to Hawaii that I'm looking forward to but for them just planning everything without asking us is a bit out of line. I know they love their grandson very much and just want the best for us but I feel as if they but in too much. They have money and I wanted to plan my own wedding, I'm 21 not a kid but she seems to view us as children. Isn't it totally wrong for them planning the wedding for us without having told us?...
